Fighting for What’s Right TBCS

The Breast Cancer Society is one of the premiere organizations that are fighting for the betterment and welfare of women suffering from breast cancer, helping them to stand on their own two feet and strive to make a better future for themselves surviving the fight against breast cancer.

Directly helping Breast Cancer Patients

What the Breast Cancer Society has to offer is more than your average cancer support group. While the rest merely focus on gathering funds for research and education going into cancer treatment, the Breast Cancer Society serves to actively contribute to the lives of individuals who have been directly affected by this affliction. And it does this through its many programs and initiatives that have gained popularity all over the states for being the real voice of breast cancer support groups.

The Hope Supply Program

The Hope Supply Program is one of the ways through which the society is helping these women get their lives back on track and cope with the stresses of cancer. What it does is to contact major retailers and manufacturers of everyday things, household products, clothing and other accessories, and asks them to donate their items  that are overstocked or in excess and then provides these items to the people undergoing treatment, so as to lessen some of the load that comes from managing and paying for cancer treatment. Supplies, support and sister hood is their motto and they strive to deliver exactly that.
The Breast Cancer Society also has certain programs that aim to provide financial assistance and funds for people undergoing treatment, and even helps you procure educational loans or job referrals for yourself or your kids, who have also most likely been directly affected by your situation.

Raising your voice for Breast Cancer

The Breast Cancer Society aims to provide a platform for women across the world suffering at  the hand of this challenging disease by inviting them to get together and contribute and share their experiences so others who are about to undergo the same process can learn from it. These support groups are also very important in terms of being a sort of lone beacon of light in a journey full of darkness and uncertainty, as the diagnosis of cancer is still one that carries a lot of stigma around it which can be difficult to cope with entirely on one’s own.

How you can help fight Breast Cancer

You can help raise your voice for breast cancer awareness and fight alongside these brave women by joining the Breast Cancer Society and helping to raise funds for the work it does, either by organizing your own event or helping in the ones already taking place like some charity walks and drives, the initiatives for donating your car or boat, or just simply giving your time to listen to the experiences of these  heroes fighting for their lives, and support them emotionally through the harrowing journey of Breast Cancer.
