The Breast Cancer Society - the helping hand you need

There are over 2.9 million breast cancer survivors in the United States alone, all thanks to the support of tenaciously hard-working organizations such as The Breast Cancer Society (TBCS). Over the past few years, it has been noticed that breast cancer is emerging as a major disease, but an early diagnosis and proper treatment can result in an effective cure. TBCS, an Arizona based organization, has made its sole purpose to provide support to breast cancer victims.

TBCS has its headquarters in Mesa, Arizona, but its centers are spread all over the United States. As a matter of fact, TBCS has taken advantage of it massive popularity to extend their operations abroad. Currently, TBCS is operating across the globe with their programs and centers present in most countries. TBCS has acquired its fame from its programs, which are directed towards helping breast cancer victims and their families. Due to TBCS’ crystal clear operations the organization also enjoys massive support, which has resulted in hugely successful volunteer program.

Monetary Support for Breast Cancer Victims
Many breast cancer victims are unable to pay for their treatment or are left with little money to run their daily affairs. TBCS provides such victims with monetary support through their program Temporary Cash Assistance. This program helps breast cancer victims throughout their battle with cancer and even after, till the patient is back on his feet and ready to support themselves.

Have faith in Hope Supply Program
Hope Supply Program is one the strongest initiatives of TBCS. In simple words Hope Supply Program’s main objective is to provide breast cancer victims with accessories, clothes and medical care products. Hope Supply program also provides prosthetics, special bras and wigs to breast cancer patients. Since the cost of breast cancer treatment is very high, Hope Supply program makes sure that breast cancer victims under its wings are provided as much help as possible.

A helping hand from Home Care Program
TBCS has noticed that many breast cancer victims are unable to care for themselves because of poor health. In some cases families are uneducated about the ways of helping breast cancer patients or are out on a limb because of supporting their homes or jobs. In such cases TBCS helps such breast cancer victims and families through its In Home Care Program. The most impressive thing about this program is that due the strong structure and support TBCS enjoys, many volunteers come out to provide professional help to breast cancer patients.

Spread help to the corner of the Earth
TBCS has taken strong steps to strengthen its facilities and programs abroad. The leading program TBCS has on this front is International Medical Aid. This an umbrella-program for a couple of projects such as raising breast cancer awareness, providing medical care to breast cancer victims, helping through monetary procedures, leading joint-operations with established and well-reputed local organizations. International Medical Aid has spread its roots into many countries and continues to do so with its programs on a daily basis.

Scholarships for the Deserved
Education is very important for structuring and stabilizing lives. Realizing the importance of education, TBCS has launched two extremely successful scholarship programs, Hope Scholarship Fund and Empower One Scholarship Fund. Hope Scholarship Fund provides families of breast cancer victims with scholarship programs. On the other hand, Empower One Scholarship Fund helps breast cancer victims study and get high-level education degrees.
