The breast cancer walk is going to be held on 21st September and will be a mega event in fight against the deadly and horrifying disease. To engage community in such a program is not only to create awareness but bring together the opportunities for a better research and better communications among different stake holders in breast cancer victims and research.

It is said that an early diagnosis helps in better disease management and effective treatment for long healthy and disease free life. Early detection in many cases has literally helped in saving precious lives. The breast cancer awareness walk especially focuses on this aspect and will help improve millions of lives.  The early mammograms and at-risk low income women will especially benefit from it. The play cards and other displays in walk will guide the people in many ways. It is a time to celebrate the good being done in the field of breast cancer awareness.

There are many societies and organizations working for awareness and raising of money for breast cancer. However, the many scams involved in the name of societies, charities and other resources should be condemned.

The breast cancer society is meant to support the ones who are victims of breast cancer and fighting the battle of survival. The awareness walk will also help create encouragement and motivation for the people who did fight the battle in the past. This great walk will also celebrate those who were lucky enough to have been diagnosed earlier and who survived a big fight. The ones who were taken much too early will also be not only remembered but a new commitment will be made to make things easy for the survivors.

The awareness walk will help collect the donations for a continual help of the patients, providing most needed items like beddings, hygiene aids, personal supplies and much more. The breast cancer fighters need such items on regular basis and most of them are from low income communities.

The 2013 walk will be arranged at THE PHOENIX ZOO and a warm participation from all is more than required. This walk not only marks an important land mark in the continued struggle against breast cancer, it will also make clear that many other scams are doing harm to the society in terms of providing not only unreliable knowledge and confusing help with robbery. Come join the walk and promote the cause of helping cancer patients.
